What’s your favorite card in Moddy Cube?
I think regular drafters know my answer is God-Eternal Kefnet 😀

What’s your least favorite card in Moddy Cube?
Agent of Treachery. It’s the least fun card in the cube particularly in that it’s often not obvious you should probably just concede. At least Maul of the Skyclaves puts you out of your misery quickly.

Do you like or dislike the seat you were assigned? Why?
I think 5th seat is probably the worst possible seat. You get the dregs of the tier 1 banger cards, with none of the wheel drafting potential from being closer to the end.

What is your strategy going into the draft? What’s your backup plan if your primary strategy is unavailable?
My current plan is to try to draft a Grist, the Hunger Tide-based GBu or GBr reanimation/cheats deck. I had a very nice table draft of that recently and it seemed well positioned against both aggro and control, and I think Grist is likely not to be prioritized as highly by other players, as well as GB lands/cards in general. Being able to re-animate Grist is incredibly powerful. Additionally cards like Monster Manual and Quicksilver Amulet really put control decks in a bind. The question in my mind is whether I’ll be able to get Agent of Treachery and Archon of Cruelty as reanimation targets, or Toxic Deluge as the aggro killer. I suspect Smuggler’s Copter will be taken before my seat since I think 2blave correctly values it as the second best card after Umezawa’s Jitte, but historically it hasn’t been drafted at that rating so if it gets to me I’m going to take that and likely get Grist on the wheel.
Historically I’ve been pretty successful at picking a plan that I’ll be able to execute from my seat without having to go to a backup, but I might shift to an Esper reanimation plan or maybe UR twin if absolutely necessary
