I love legal game actions, and I like to find particularly unique ones whenever possible

How many Moddy Rotisserie drafts have you participated in?

Three others at this point, I think?

Do you like or dislike the seat you were assigned? Why?

Love it. Kindergartners used to say “1st is the worst, 2nd is the best, 3rd is the one with the treasure chest,” but what do they know? They’re just children. 1st is great. You get to have the best card with no contention. And then you get to pick all your other cards in pairs, which can lead to some really interesting legal daft actions. It’ll be a bit more reactive than usual, but if last roto is any indication, figuring out the open color won’t be so difficult.

What’s your favorite card in Moddy?

Call me a wife guy, but it’s gotta be Sheoldred the Apocalypse

What’s your least favorite card in Moddy?

What is your strategy going into the draft? What’s your backup plan if your primary strategy is unavailable?

The best three cards as deemed by the last roto were The One Ring, Palantir and Fable. None of those have left the cube, but there are some new cards that might disrupt the balance. Lost Jitte is worse than Umezawa’s Jitte, but it’s still a Jitte. Colorless cards are extremely versatile. Tinybones, the Pickpocket is another new addition, and it’s easily the best black 1-drop creature now. Do either of those compare to the original 3? I don’t think so, but I think they’re worth thinking about. I imagine they’ll be underrated!

My strategy will have to be reactive, which means I probably won’t be able to do any one thing I’m planning on. I’ve prepared 6-7 different color-combos of roto decks, and I’ll have to see what’s open. Last draft, I went mono-blue and I’m pretty sure mono-anything other than white is a mistake for roto in this cube. I’d love to try aggro Selesnya Cheats with Collector’s Cage (another new one) and Monster Manual, which I believe are the best cheats cards. I’d also love to go The One Ring into Sheoldred the Apocalypse and Ob Nix or something. I’d also love to go The One Ring into a great blue planeswalker and Chromehost Seedshark. There’s so many directions and I’m sure any of them could be fun.

What card(s) do you think you can get late for your strategies?

For Selesnya Cheats, I think Dust Animus or One Last Job. For Rakdos Combo, I imagine Gargadon will be up for grabs. For blue or izzet value, people might sleep on Jace Reawakened or Invasion of Mercadia or something
