June 2024 — Quetzy (Seat 3) Tell the viewers a bit about yourself and your draft style Rotos are such a unique opportunity to plan out specific decks that may never come together in table draft so I’m always coming up with off beat ideas to try out. This means I’m often forgoing popular cards in favor of niche strategies, which means I can worry less about fighting in the draft portion after I take the key cards I need. How many Moddy Rotisserie drafts have you participated in? 12? 15? Do you like or dislike the seat you were assigned? Why? I’m not unhappy with it, I was 3rd last time and got a 4-0 😀 It’s a bit of a tossup for me whether 8 is a better seat or not. What’s your favorite card in Moddy? I said Kefnet last time but I haven’t gotten to play with him in ages. This time I’ll say Fauna Shaman because it’s probably the card with the highest ratio of how good it is for me vs how little anyone else uses it. What’s your least favorite card in Moddy? Still Palantir! I had it last roto and it’s just not even fun for the person who has it. What is your strategy going into the draft? What’s your backup plan if your primary strategy is unavailable? Still figuring it out, but I want to avoid cheats this time so I’m looking at Narset as a strategy I can probably force regardless of what I get to first pick, though some new green cards like Bristlebud Farmer are calling out to me… What card(s) do you think you can get late for your strategies? Narset, Invasion of Mercadia, Chained to the Rocks, Nahiri, maybe Collector’s Cage
